As a GUASFCU Intern, you will have the unique ability to gain hands-on experience while working at the nation’s largest completely student-run financial institution. During the first semester of your internship, you will learn how to manage basic transactions on the teller line, while also shadowing each department in GUASFCU. After your first semester, you will be placed into one of our six core departments, and have the opportunity to join GUASFCU’s leadership team at the Executive and Board levels.
The IT Department is seeking applicants with basic computer and technical skills. IT applicants will be fast-tracked to join the department at the start of their internship, and will gain real-world experience with network security, system optimization, hardware upkeep, cloud computing, VPNs, and more.
The Marketing Department is seeking creative applicants experienced in graphic design, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, photography, and videography. Marketing applicants will be fast-tracked to join the department at the end of their first semester, and will gain experience in marketing campaign management, creation and branding, data analytics, and strategic planning.
